Marc is an Elder in the Texas Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. He serves as Minister of Congregational Care, providing leadership in the areas of Outreach, Witness and Care and Compassion.

Marc received his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas, a BS in Civil Engineering. He practiced engineering for one year before going to Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky. He graduated from Asbury with his Master of Divinity in May of 1999, and was appointed to Christ Church in June of that same year.

Marc loves University of Kentucky basketball, Texas A&M football, but the prize of his life is Leanne, the best youth minister around, who happens to be on staff at Christ Church as well! They were married in 1997. "My ministry is God's ministry, and it is the product of the love of my life, Jesus Christ. I am grateful for those in my life who hold me accountable to being with Him.

Daily prayer and daily time in God's Word are staples in my spiritual diet. And one of my heroes in the faith is E. Stanley Jones, who said: 'When I think of goodness, I do not add virtue to virtue: I think of Jesus of Nazareth. When I think of God, I do not go through my imagination: I go through His image. 'He is the express image of God's person.' And if God is Christlike, I could think of nothing higher. If God isn't Christlike, I would lose interest in Him and turn my love and loyalty to Christ alone...' It is ALL about Jesus."
